Enjoy excellent fishing and diving in the harbour and beyond, you will find a boat ramp at the Marsden Cove Marina, within 7 minutes drive, or enjoy a coffee and a bite to eat at the popular cafe overlooking the many local and international boats moored at marina. The Ruakaka Village has an excellent large supermarket, takeaways and butchers, a ten minute drive south will take you to Waipu Village a town steeped in Scottish history boasting many great eating establishments and Whangarei Township is a 25 minute drive away. While you are here take advantage of local fishing charters, kayak hire, surfing, horse riding treks, the Waipu Caves and the many local white sand beaches on offer!
