Luxury Beach House – Matapouri Palms is a well appointed luxuriously built and comfortable holiday home. Ideally located on the waterfront of Matapouri’s estuary and only 130 metres from Matapouri’s stunning main beach. This huge house can be rented as two completely self contained residences that can either be booked separately or also be opened up internally to create a massive 5 bedroom plus residence of 354m2 with 4+1 bathrooms. The stunning gardens have been exquisitely planted to create a tropical oasis with areas for outdoor dining and BBQ as well as sun loungers for relaxing in complete privacy. The crystal clear water of the estuary on your doorstep provides a tranquil and very safe environment for the children to swim and use the kayaks, or stroll only 130 metres for a swim at arguably Northlands most stunning beach. The main house incorporates 3 bedrooms. A large master bedroom with King size bed, ensuite / walk in robe and private decks occupying the entire top floor giving fantastic views over the water and out to the bay. On the mid level a second bedroom with King size bed, and a third bedroom with a double / single bunk combination as well as a single bed. Another bathroom and a separate toilet completes this accommodation wing. Also on this level the large open plan Kitchen, dining, lounge area opening onto large wrap around decks that capture the sun throughout the day and give great views over the water. Downstairs is the main entry with 4 car garaging, the back of which is set up as a bunkroom. There is also another full bathroom and laundry facilities. The second residence has 2 bedrooms. One with a king size bed. The other with a double / single bunk combination as well as a single bed. It also has its own bathroom and an open plan Lounge, dining and kitchen opening onto a sun-drenched patio area surrounded by lush tropical gardens. The furnishings and fit out are excellent. Matapouri Palms is less than a 2 minute walk to the Matapouri Store for refreshments and less than a 3 minute drive to Whale Bay. Woolley’s Bay and Sandy Bay, arguably one of NZ’s best surf breaks, are only minutes further. Tutukaka, NZ’s game fishing capital is less than a 10 minute drive and here you will find fantastic dining at Schnappa Rock restaurant and others, or relax with a drink at the Gamefishing club overlooking the Tutukaka Marina. Attractions in the area include, diving, fishing, snorkelling, walking, sailing, kayaking, night and wreck diving, surfing and horseriding , wining and dining or 18 holes of golf at Ngunguru only approx. 15 minutes drive away amongst many others.
